The design strategy behind The Patron was to deliver a solution that would not only complement the existing range, but elevate this iconic wine to archival status. We carefully refined the illustration of the Taltarni Cartouche to ensure that every detail was perfectly etched into the pewter label. We placed this high on the elegant French bottle and the simple, foiled neck label and black wax dip seal allows the Cartouche to shine with sophisticated simplicity. The exclusivity of the wine is emphasised by individual numbering on back label, which was printed on a premium, uncoated stock, adding tactile warmth and softness. Finally, we developed a handcrafted laydown wooden case as well as individual gift boxes to complete the project. ‘Our winemakers had sourced the best parcels of our hero, regional varietals to craft an iconic flagship wine for Taltarni. The design for this packaging had to showcase this product in an exquisite manner while ensuring it was recognisably Taltarni. The team at CoLLECT Design have taken the brief and achieved the desired result in an outstanding style.
